Pecan and Brazil Patties


Pecan and Brazil Nut Patties
  1. 1 cup of pecan nuts
  2. 1 cup of brazil nuts
  3. 1 carrot - grated
  4. ½ onion – diced
  5. 2tbsp tomato paste
  6. 1 pinch oregano
  7. 2 sprigs of parsley
  8. 1 egg
  9. Extra Virgin Olive oil
  10. ½ cup sesame seeds
  11. celtic salt
  12. Spelt flour or Rice Flour– for coating
  1. Place all ingredients into a blender until mix resemblespeanut paste.
  2. Place the mixture into the fridge for one hour before cooking it will help set to make easier to handle.
  3. NOTE: if your blender isnt high power grind nuts first then add ingredients and blend.
  4. Wet hands roll the mix into small patties. Roll in spelt flour then roll in sesame seeds.
  5. Pour a little oil in fry pan and cook patties on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve with special tomato sauce and fresh salad.
